About Us - Our Story & Our Mission

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry has been established to provide free basic food pantry items to low income and homeless Riverside County residents. Our Food Pantry works with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and sources such as Second Harvest National Food Bank Program to obtain free or purchased food items. The goal is to supplement the food staples of low income or homeless individuals to allow their meals to be more nutritionally balanced.

Additionally, when funds are available, it is possible to assist clients with their gas bill through Southern California Gas, and various other needs.

The thrust of our mission is to provide a monthly basket of food to qualifying clients and offer a weekly bag of food to the homeless clients.  These clients may also shop for clothing in a special section of the facility called the “free closet”.

Canned food drives through the Banning and Beaumont, schools, Postal Carriers, and Boy Scouts are always gratefully received.

Thrift Store

The Thrift Store is an integral arm of H.E.L.P. Inc., providing operational income and offering shoppers a place to buy "gently used" clothing and used small household items at incredibly thrifty prices. The store is staffed by caring volunteers.
